I've been dealing with serious family and money issues over the last few months so I haven't been online much. This morning, though, I got an email that caused me to jump straight online and tell everyone:
I've been officially published in the upcoming book 1,000 Incredible Costume and Cosplay Ideas!!! www.amazon.com/000-Incredible-… I'm so freaking excited!!! I can't wait to see which shot(s) they ended up using!
In other news, I heard about the Sakura Blossom Festival last minute but managed to find a few friends to tag along with on Saturday. Sometimes there are cosplayers there, sometimes there aren't, but I decided to take a chance and wear my updated MADAO cosplay. Unfortunately, I managed to run into a handful of snags while getting ready and even more issues arose when I attempted to actually wear it outside. The wind was stronger than my double-sided tape and the city was colder than predicted so I ended up having to run back to the car and change. I ended up spending the rest of the day walking around San Francisco with a beard, bound-breasts, a baggy tshirt, one of my girliest hoodies, and my voice squeakier than normal. Ironically, I was being stared at less often than usual, though I did manage to accidentally freak out a few kids. XD
I've concluded that my MADAO cosplay must be cursed with Hasegawa's bad luck and I've decided to retire the cosplay. That being said, I didn't get any good pictures of it, so I'll probably wear it at least once more to FINALLY get some proper shots. That transformation was too damn good to not get posted! lol
